"Finished Piece" Animal Firm

This project it I think went really badly. Due to the fact, and I can say I put my heart and soul into the "What!" project, and I found myself kinda lacking and falling behind with Animal firm and sketchbook project.

Although I knew what I wanted to go for, for animal firm, it just didn't happen. I feel as though I've let myself down this year, and I hate just being average all the time, and I really do try hard at everything I do, time is just not on my side. As well, I felt that my partner I was working with on this project wasn't as concentrated, wasn't fully into it. I had spent a lot of my time, after managing to finish the "What!" project, making more characters for the animal firm, trying to think of scenarios to put the characters in, and I was kind of left on my own, and I really couldn't cope, because there was only a few days left till the hand in date, there was a lot of colouring to do, there was the write up to think about, although knowing what the story was about, I wanted to go more in to depth with it, and drawing up scenarios for the characters.

To be honest I didn't get a choice in the write up, and my partner wanted to take control, and I think that they felt I was kind of taking over, because they had come up with the idea, which I totally understand, because I had asked to work with them, but my intentions weren't to take over, i just did what i was suppose to do. However the whole point of this was to work as a team, to kind of be there for each other, and bounce ideas from one another. It all became one sided on my behalf, with the drawings and the colouring. At the last kind of few days, we finally met up, and tried to work together.

The story, the character bio's are not great, would of liked to have gone more into depth. Looks very plain and rather boring. The drawings I think turned out pretty good, I wish we had done more characters more scenes, I was surprised at the colouring though, due to the fact I used a laptop touch pad, came out quite nicely. I think on a whole, I think me and my partner could of done so much better, however this is something for next time to kind of take on board, and learn from our mistakes.
